Riderr stores the following data that you enter directly into the app:
- Motorcycle details (make, model, year, VIN, mileage)
- Service records and maintenance history
- Bike specifications (oil type, tire sizes, chain specs, etc.)
- Modification records
- Photos of your bikes (stored locally or in iCloud)

iCloud Sync (Premium)
If you are a Riderr Premium subscriber, your data may be stored in Apple's iCloud using iCloud Key-Value Storage and CloudKit. This data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. We do not have access to your iCloud data.
Claude AI Feature (Optional)
Riderr includes an optional feature to parse service invoices using the Claude AI API by Anthropic. To use this feature, you must supply your own API key from Anthropic. This key is stored securely in your device's local storage and is only transmitted to Anthropic's servers when you explicitly use the invoice import feature.
Any invoice data processed through this feature is sent to Anthropic in accordance with Anthropic's Privacy Policy. We do not store or have access to any data sent to Anthropic.
In-App Purchases
Riderr offers optional in-app purchases through Apple's App Store. Purchase transactions are handled entirely by Apple and governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. We do not collect or store any payment information.
Notifications
Riderr may request permission to send you local push notifications for service reminders and mileage updates. These notifications are generated entirely on your device and no notification data is transmitted to our servers.
Analytics & Tracking
Riderr does not use any third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or tracking tools. We do not collect usage data, crash reports, or any information about how you use the app.
NHTSA Recall Data
Riderr may query the publicly available NHTSA (National Highway Traffic Safety Administration) API to check for open recalls on your vehicle using your bike's make, model, and year. No personal information is transmitted in these requests.
Children's Privacy
Riderr is not directed at children under the age of 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
